Chris trained at De Montfort University in Contemporary Performing Arts and began his professional performance career working with ex-Michael Clark dancer Julie Hood. He has toured extensively around the UK and abroad, performing with The Mission (State Of Emergency), Springs Dance Company, Mobius Dance Theatre, Mercurial Dance, Keira Dance, Parlor Dance, Cscape Dance Company, The Wayne Sables Project and has most recently completed a six month national tour with Wriggle Dance Company’s The Colour Of Me. Not limited to Contemporary Dance alone, Chris has trained and performed work involving Physical and Dance Theatre, Clowning, Aerial work and Puppetry.
Chris delivers a broad range of educational work for organisations including Warwick Arts Centre, The Place and Dance4, teaching classes and creating bespoke works for both stage and screen.
In his role with MÓTUS, Chris has produced a series of Work In Progress platforms and two youth dance platforms, JUMP START, the most recent of which involved 230 young dancers. Chris also mentors young and graduate dancers, and facilitates a wide range of other dance projects and activity, and sits on the MK Arts Gateway Dance Panel.
