Welcome Chris Bradley-Goodship:
New Chair of Trustees
Chris Bradley-Goodship, a co-founder of MÓTUS, brings a wealth of experience and a deep-seated passion for the arts to his new role. He succeeds Lucy Davies, who is stepping down after a successful three-year term.
Chris Bradley-Goodship is a highly respected figure in the arts and education sectors, with a career spanning 25 years. His journey with MÓTUS began at its inception alongside the late Helen Parlor, where he served as a Director from 2014 to 2019.
During this time, he was instrumental in shaping the organisation's vision and supporting the process of securing its initial funding from Arts Council England. His leadership in youth dance initiatives, such as the acclaimed Jump Start programme, has left a lasting legacy.

Currently the Vocational Quality Nominee at Arts1, Bradley-Goodship has a proven track record of leadership, strategic planning, and fostering collaborative environments. His extensive background as a freelance dance artist, educator, and facilitator provides him with a unique and holistic understanding of the arts landscape.
"I am incredibly honoured and excited to be returning to MÓTUS as Chair of the Board," said Chris Bradley-Goodship. "I have watched the organisation flourish over the years, and I am eager to contribute to its continued growth and success. MÓTUS plays a vital role in the cultural life of Milton Keynes and beyond, and I look forward to working with the board and the artistic team to further its mission of making dance accessible to all. I am honoured to contribute to the ongoing achievements of MÓTUS, part of my friend Helen's legacy.”
MÓTUS extends its heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing Chair, Lucy Davies, for her invaluable contributions and dedicated leadership over the past three years. Her strategic guidance has been instrumental in navigating the challenges of the post-pandemic era and strengthening the organisation's foundation.
"We are delighted to welcome Chris back to the MÓTUS family as our new Chair," commented Cameron Ball, Artistic Director of MÓTUS. "His deep understanding of our ethos, combined with his extensive experience, makes him the ideal person to lead us into our next chapter. We are also immensely grateful to Lucy for her unwavering commitment and strategic vision, which have been pivotal to our success."
